Rogue request emergency EPL transfer

Rogue have contacted WESA to request an emergency transfer in the ESL Pro League, according to a report from Dust2.us.

The move comes as a result of the removal of Collin "wrath" McSweegan's from Rogue's active roster following a 13th-place finish in the ESL Pro League, which forces the team to take part in a relegation stage to keep their spot in the $1 million competition.

wrath, who has been seen playing for Ghost in recent weeks, allegedly refused to play for Rogue any longer upon hearing that he was being benched, leaving the team in a very difficult situation as they cannot make any additions to their roster following the league's trade deadline.

Rogue turn to WESA to request an extra transfer

Rogue reportedly fear that, even if the 16-year-old agrees to play, he will not do so to the best of his abilities, which would severely hurt their chances in a relegation stage that will include Immortals, GX and the loser of the ESEA Premier final between Rise Nation and SoaR

The emergency transfer process was created by WESA in September following the internal issues that left Immortals without a five-man roster to play in the league. It can be granted "in the event of extraordinary circumstances" and allows a team to complete a roster change outside of the transfer window.

It seems very unlikely that WESA will respond favourably to the request, however, as Rogue still have two eligible players outside of their starting roster: team coach Garett "Grt" Bambrough and backup member Michael "Uber" Stapells.
